Please read the important information below.

In order to qualify for Rental Assistance:

You must be a City of Chicago resident.
You must have an email address to apply. If you do not have one, you will need to create one.
Your household income must be at or below 80% of Area Median Income.*
Answer the questions below to determine if you are eligible.

In order to qualify for Rental Assistance, one of the following situations must apply to you.
Please choose one that applies.

Exiting a publicly funded institution or system of care

Have received eviction notice during 21 days after applying for assistance

Is living in the home of another because of financial hardship

Live in a hotel or motel and the cost is not paid for by charitable organizations or by Federal, State, or local government programs for low-income individual

Living in an Single Resident Occupancy or efficiency apartment unit in which there reside more than 2 persons

Moved because of financial reasons 2 or more times during the 90 days prior to applying

To qualify for the 2025 CSBG Scholarship:

You must be a current City of Chicago resident and validate your residency with supporting documentation.
You will need to have an e-mail address to apply. If you do not have an e-mail address, you will need to create one before applying.
You must be within the income guidelines and validate your income with supporting documentation.
You must be enrolled as a full-time student in an Illinois Educational Institution for the Fall of 2025.
You must provide an official educational institution transcript to validate your fall enrollment for 2025.
